Frequent readers of our blog and other internet and social media posts may get tired of seeing stories about the devastation often caused by distracted driving. We don’t care. We aren’t going to stop. We think this is such an important driving safety issue, that we are just going to continue posting stories until someday when drivers finally decide to put down their phones and stop using them to text, surf the internet, and check in to social media. Here is (another) sad story about distracted driving. This one comes from upper Midwest (North Dakota), where a 20-year-old was apparently driving on the highway, and at the same time looking at pictures on Facebook. Apparently, this kept her from noticing that car in front of her with a granddaughter and grandmother inside was slowing to enter the highway median. The young lady enjoying Facebook crashed into the rear of the forward vehicle, killing both grandmother and granddaughter.
